The aim of this module is to help you identify pregnancy-related oral health conditions and dentally related pregnancy considerations, in relation to both patients and staff.

• Understand the various pregnancy-related oral health complications
• Know how to prepare for pregnancy-related medical emergencies
• Be able to support pregnant patients during treatment
• Understand how pregnancy affects oral and general health
• Identify health and safety considerations when treating pregnant patients
