This CPD was to give insight into the different blood borne viruses and help to understand their causes, treatment and living with the condition. 
This CPD module provides you with 1-hour GDC verifiable CPD. 

The aim of this module is to enable the learner to understand the different blood borne viruses that there are, the symptoms the patient experiences and how this affects treatment.

This module will help you to:

• List the 3 blood borne viruses
• Discuss how each virus is caused
• Discuss how to treat/manage each blood borne virus
• Describe the long-term effect of the virus should they not be treated.
