14 December 2016: Mental Capacity Act and Consent
The Mental Capacity Act & Consent course discusses the act and its 5 principles and will enable you to understand which patients fall within this legislation. During this CPD session, we also discuss assessing capacity, decision making, including best interest, and documentation procedures.

14 December 2016: General Safeguarding for Dental Professionals
During this 3 hour CPD session, you will familiarize yourself with the indicators of abuse and factors which may lead to increased vulnerability. Dental professionals will gain an increased understanding of their roles and responsibilities in the safeguarding process and will be aware of legislation, guidance and procedures relating to child protection.
Who should attend:
- All members of the dental team.
- This level 2 course is the minimum level required for clinical staff who have contact with children and young people, parents and carers.

16 December 2016: First Aid Appointed Person
This Health & Safety Executive (HSE) approved one day course is ideal for the Appointed Person in small - medium dental practice that present few health and safety risks.You will be continually assessed throughout the day by the trainer and will receive a certificate valid for three years at the end of the course.

- Suited to all members of the dental team
- Candidates should be physically able to carry out the procedures covered by the course.
