The job entails assisting the dentist, sterilising equipment, reception and any other ad hoc duties as may be required. Provide efficient and reliable chair-side support to Practice Clinicians.
The apprenticeship in dental nursing is an 18-month government funded course and is comprised of 3 main components: • City & Guilds Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing • Functional Skills English & Maths level 2 qualifications (unless exempt) • Integrated End Point Assessment – consisting of a synoptic test, interview & observation. Your duties will include but not be limited to providing efficient and reliable chair-side support to Practice Clinician etc.,
The practice is fully private and offers a wide range of treatments such as routine dentistry, implants and cosmetic dentistry. Role requirements: Min of GCSE 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths, communication/customer service skills, assist the clinical team in providing and maintaining patient care, willing to follow policies and procedures.
